If you are a young disabled person who wants to do the same kinds of activities that other young people enjoy then you can apply to East Sussex YouthBank for a grant to help you do just that!
You must be aged between 13 and 19 and live in East Sussex, but not Brighton & Hove.
With help from a supporting organisation, you can apply for a grant between £300 and £5,000 to help you make new friends and take part in fun activities.
There are lots of things you can apply for a grant for.
- Cultural activities including music and art.
- Any kind of positive leisure-time activity – for example sports or any physical activity.
- Projects that help you to spend time with others, away from your family or carer.
- Projects that are designed to promote a positive image of young people with disabilities.
- Download the application form (Adobe PDF, 955KB)
- Send it to the address at the bottom of this page.
The closing date for this round of applications is 10 May, but don’t worry if you miss it because there will be other chances later on in the year
A panel of young people will be judging your application. You can see how they will score it by downloading the YouthBank scoring notes (Adobe PDF, 18KB).
