Are there things where you live that need changing? Do you want to make a difference and have a bigger say in how things are run in East Sussex? The Youth Cabinet is here to represent you!
The Youth Cabinet is a group of young people who have been chosen by you to represent your voice in East Sussex. You may have voted for us in the Big Vote in November 2009. The members of the Youth Cabinet represent different areas, called ‘constituencies, in East Sussex.
We campaigns for things that you think are important, by going to the people who make the decisions and telling them what young people want. We talk to lots of different people, from the police, to bus companies and everyone in between.
We have worked on three main campaigns over the last year, which were chosen by you.

Here’s the line up of the newly elected East Sussex Youth Cabinet members. Each member serves for two years, from December 2009 to December 2011. We are independent, which means we are not attached to a particular political party.
