Starting September 2014 at SDC Newhaven Campus
Develop your carpentry and enterprise skills and recycle materials to create new products to sell at an exhibition at the end of your course.
Work on qualification units in carpentry hand skills, using and maintaining woodworking tools, Health & Safety as well as much more!
The course is FREE for 16-24 year olds (19-24 if you are in receipt of a means-tested benefit)

Are you aged 16 - 25 and currently not in employment or education? Give your life a kick start and join the 12-week Prince’s Trust Team programme! You’ll improve your confidence, gain new skills and qualifications and meet new people. It’s free, you won’t lose your benefits and you’ll get the chance to:
- work on a community project
- spend a week away on an action-packed team building residential course
- complete a two-week work placement
- write a great CV plus practise your interview skills
- give a speech at your final presentation, and much more!

Opt Into is the right programme for you if you are 16 to 18 and are not yet ready for a full-time college course, work or training. Opt Into will help you to get back on track and think about what to do next. You will come in 12 hours a week and will be in a small group. You will still be able to get your benefits and we will pay your travel.
