If you are looking for an alternative to college there are many other training providers located across the county, offering a wide variety of exciting courses ranging from the arts, music, fashion and sports to child care, personal development and work skills.
Many of these training providers also offer apprenticeships, traineeships, work experience and the chance to volunteer.

Access To Music offer music courses in Brighton, including performance, recording, management and all aspects of the music industry
BIMM (Brighton Institute of Modern Music) also offer music and music industry related courses.
DV8 Sussex offers people aged 16-23 FREE courses in music, fashion, media and live events, plus fully paid apprenticeships in creative industries. With training centres based in Bexhill and Brighton, Dv8 Sussex empowers young people to make informed choices about their future, in a fun, supportive and aspirational environment.
Albion In The Community offer sports development, fitness, leadership, business and coaching and other sports related courses
Lewes FC Academy offer football development, coaching courses based in Lewes
MPCT offer Military and Public Services course in Eastbourne, Hastings and Brighton
JACE Training offer courses, apprenticeships and traineeships in areas such as Child Care, Business Admin and Customer Services and Hospitality and Catering
Many providers across East Sussex offer opportunities to train and gain qualifications in the work place, including Traineeships and Apprenticeships. You can also explore Work Experience or Volunteering as a useful way of learning on the job and gaining the experience required to progress.
